STML Studio is a tiny design practice and consultancy in London, UK. We love books and new media.
STML Studio was founded in 2007 by James Bridle, formerly an editor and publisher at Snowbooks, an independent publisher which in 2006 was named Small Publisher of the Year at the British Book Trade Awards.
As well as winning numerous plaudits for its critically acclaimed titles, innovative publishing processes and a consistently high quality of book and cover design, Snowbooks was the first publisher in the world to have a blog, the first publisher to regularly use MySpace and other social networks for book marketing, and the first publisher to open a shop in the virtual world of Second Life, generating much beneficial publicity as well as sales.
STML Studio was founded to help other publishers - large and small - take advantage of digital technologies to reach more readers and sell more books. We also like working with individuals and businesses in other fields to create interesting and attractive web and print identities.
If you’d like to know more about what we can do to help you, please have a look around this website, or drop us a line. We’re always happy to chat.
