We were very pleased to help out our good friend Max by building his new venture, Eagger, a spiffing new website, complete with blog, where we’re sure he’ll be making his presence felt. Good luck to him.

Man, this one was fun. Go check out the site we built for George Harvey Bones’ awesome Cooking With Booze, a cookbook for the more tipsy of chefs. It includes a totally free, Creative-commons licensed web edition of the book, videos of some of the recipes, and a fun blog.

STML Studio revamped Surplus Matter, a site for and about author Tom McCarthy.

Tom’s a fantastic author, and we were happy to help out. The project consisted of creating a new theme for Wordpress loosely based on the covers of the UK editions of Tom’s novels Remainder and Men In Space, and developing a new, tag-based system for navigating the content. Head on over and check it out…

11/06/07: London Lit Plus #

LL+

STML Studio created a new site for London Lit Plus, an open literature festival for London.

Due to pressing time issues, the site was built - from namespace purchase to full operation - in a day, including the branding and design, and implementation of an events calendar, a news blog, a mailing list, MySpace, Facebook, Flickr and other presences, and a host of other features. It’s not how we like to work but we can do it!

01/06/07: 3:AM Brasil #

3:AM Brasil

STML Studio fully redesigned and relaunched 3:AM Magazine, an international literary magazine, back in 2006. We’re now proud to unveil a sister site, 3:AM Brasil, dedicated to Portuguese-langauge literature, music and culture from South America.

Like the main site, 3:AM Brasil is based on a highly customised version of Wordpress, allowing backend access to less technologically minded editors - in this case, in Portuguese as well as English - and featuring discrete categories for different articles as well as a blog, mailing list, RSS, and full accessibility.

I’ve written some more about 3:AM Brasil over at booktwo.org, and do tell any Brasilian friends about it.
